DCM Dare

This week's dare on DCM is:
"Everything we buy has packaging, some of it excessive, some of it beautifully designed. Tags, labels, stickers... all sorts of bits and bobs that we can recycle onto cards.I dare you to make a card using a tag, label, sticker or anything else you can find, thats from packaging and would normally end up in the bin. Of course you can ink it, change it, distress it and add anything else you like!If you're feeling brave, I DOUBLE DARE you to make it a card for a man!"

So here it is. I have no idea where the tobacco label came from - nobody in this house smokes!

Very nice! The soft blue label works so well with your muted palette.

Thanks so much for joining in and a double dare as well.

That blue tag works beautifully with your other muted browny tonings. Lovely!

Gorgeous colours - I love the softness of this and the aged feeling it has.

Thanks for joining in, now you've done one dare, I hope you'll be back with more lovely cards for us to see.

Yes, the accordion player is a stamp. Thanks for all your comments - I've been stamping for a few years but a new challnge is always a good thing.

This really nice, the colours are so subtle.

If it's any consolation, we have the strangest weather over here in the UK too. 4 inches of rain in a day, more than the normal for the whole month.
